Measurements: Bust: 4042 (batwing style, so hard to estimate exactly). Hips: -- open full circle peplum. Very unique and in incredible vintage condition. This is a true 1940's era peplum suit jacket with a full circle style peplum skirt design below the waist. Like straight out of Casablanca.
The buttons are not actually buttons, rather detailed rhinestone casings that hold tiny rhinestones all along the outside rims of the casings, then one larger rhinestone set into the front center, then they close with loop closures over them. Notch style lapels - very obvious, dramatic batwing style sleeves too.The peplum is very dramatic/full circle style that tapers hard into the waist, then juts out in a batwing style toward the sleeves directly from there. The fabric I believe is rayon but I'm not 100% positive, maybe silk. It's a very shiny pinkish champagne color with a thick, bold horizontal rib design, sharkskin minded material. The only flaw is one center piece rhinestone is missing out of a button casing, but the button remains. Find a piece close and glue it in, presto.
